The 435-acre Deep Lakes Park was formerly a sand and gravel quarry. The pits have been filled with water and now paddlers can traverse the 120 acres of clear water lakes. Numerous launch points offer paddlers access to multiple lakes within the park.

Lost Grove Lake, the reservoir formed on Lost Creek, is a 400-acre body of water that provides calm paddling conditions and amenities for fishing.

Muscatine's riverside trail connects downtown Muscatine with various parks and neighborhoods. This paved trail is suitable for walking, biking and running.

Augustana College walking paths feature beautiful, scenic views of the wooded campus. The 115 acre campus includes recreational facilities, cultural and historic landmarks, and even a slough.

The Camden Park trails feature short walking paths perfect for any skill level. A Born Learning trail is also located within the park, along with numerous recreational facilities.

The Muscatine Community YMCA trail system features just over 1 mile of paved paths that are perfect for walking or jogging. The trail is close to local neighborhoods and is adjacent to the Cedar Street sidepath.

The Mad Creek Greenbelt trail is just over 1 mile long and connects Park Avenue West to Lake Park Blvd. The trail runs along Mad creek and passes underneath the U.S. 61 Bypass in Muscatine.

The Prairie Heights trail system winds through the northern section of Prairie Heights Park, connecting to the Davenport Public Library (Eastern Avenue Branch). The 220 acre park includes multiple amenities and is located at 5600 Eastern Avenue.

The Heritage Trail is located within Prairie View Park in Walcott, Iowa near the intersection of North Main Street and West Parkview Drive. The trail is just under a mile long and winds through wetlands, a pond, resting areas, and a gazebo.
