Trailhead Information
Access to the walking path can be found at either end of Mel McKay Park. Users of the path can access the park from 92nd Avenue W turning north on either Ridgewood Road or 14th Street W. Ample parking can be found at either entrance.
Description
Located in Southwest Rock Island, Mel McKay Park boasts 30 acres of green space with plenty of room to roam. The park is named after former Rock Island Mayor Mel McKay (1945-1953) and has a baseball diamond, soccer field, tennis courts and a playground.
