Pike Run Wildlife Area

Trailhead Information

There are two parking lots on Iron City Avenue. Heading west on 170th Street, Iron City Avenue will be on the left. The trailhead is located near the second parking lot and will be on the left. 

Description

Wetlands, woodlands, and dense cover make up this 182-acre rugged area and offer a variety of habitats for studying nature and hunting and trapping. Deer, ducks, turkeys, upland birds, rabbits, and squirrels abound. Pike Run meanders through the northwest corner of the area. There's a bridge across Pike Run as well as mowed trails in the area.
