There are many trailhead access points, including at Weed Park, Riverside Park, Kent Stein Park, and Deep Lakes Park.
Description
The trail network serves as the designated Mississippi River Trail through Muscatine, as well as much of the American Discovery Trail route through the City. The riverfront component is lit at night, providing a safe and pleasant trail experience. There are also numerous restroom facilities and drinking fountains along the route. The system connects numerous parks, the riverfront, and historic downtown Muscatine. A short on-street route is required to travel between Musser Park and Kent Stein Park.
Other Information
While on trails and walkways in the City, please stay to the right and pass on the left. No motorized vehicles are allowed, unless otherwise posted.
