Experience the Quad Cities portion of the 500-mile Grand Illinois Trail (GIT), following along the waters of the scenic Mississippi River and historic Hennepin Canal.

Located along the Mississippi River, the Ralph B. Birks Recreational Trail runs the entire span of Moline’s 4.2 mile shoreline. It is also part of the regional and national trail systems, the Great River Trail, the Mississippi River Trail, and the American Discovery Trail.

The Kiwanis Trail runs along shores of the Rock River. Much of the trail is shared access on quiet streets with some sections of separated trail through riverfront parks and nature preserves. These trails vary between good and rather rough surfaces.

The Barcelona Street Sidepath provides a link between 53rd Avenue in Bettendorf and Field Sike Park and is ideal for walking, running, and biking.

The Devils Glen Road Sidepath links together almost all of the network of multi-use trails, paths, and on-road facilities in the city of Bettendorf and connects Crow Creek Park in the north to Duck Creek Parkway in the south.

The George Thuenen Drive Sidewalk provides a safe bike and pedestrian-friendly link between the Downtown Bettendorf and the Mississippi River Trail (MRT) along the riverfront.

The Leach Park Trail is a short loop connecting the Leach Park entrance and parking lot to the Mississippi River Trail (Bettendorf section).

The Scott Community College trails feature a multi-use network of paths connecting the buildings and grounds of Scott Community College in Riverdale. In 2018, mountain bike trails were built north of the main campus by the local bicycle shop Healthy Habits.

The Tanglefoot Lane Sidepath is a residential multi-use path that connects local schools and parks to other paved trails, paths, and on-road facilities in the City of Bettendorf. Tanglefoot Lane also has marked bike lanes on each side of the road.
