The Kiwanis Trail runs along shores of the Rock River. Much of the trail is shared access on quiet streets with some sections of separated trail through riverfront parks and nature preserves. These trails vary between good and rather rough surfaces.

The Hoover Nature Trail is a segment of the American Discovery Trail and is a developing trail being built along a former Rock Island and Pacific Railroad right-of-way. There are various surfaces including paved and crushed limestone. This trail will accommodate runners, walkers, and bikers at various points.

Just outside of Port Byron, Dorrance Forest Preserve now offers mountain biking in addition to hiking trails.

The Scott Community College trails feature a multi-use network of paths connecting the buildings and grounds of Scott Community College in Riverdale. In 2018, mountain bike trails were built north of the main campus by the local bicycle shop Healthy Habits.

Set amongst the bluffs of northern Rock Island County, Illiniwek Forest Preserve features 5 miles of ultra flowy singletrack with the longest sustained climbs and descents in the QC area. The park offers a wide range of amenities besides the off road trails and is located on the Great River Trail bike path for easy car-free access.

Adjacent to downtown Moline and many other local attractions, this 1.7 mile network is entirely within the wooded ravines and is well suited for mountain biking and hiking.

The Dog Park Trails at North Marquette Dog Park boast 3 miles of singletrack trail in a 21-acre woodland right in the heart of Davenport. The Dog Park is most known for its wide array of mountain bike features, which include wooden and dirt berms, jumps for every skill level, teeter-totters and even a wall ride.
