The 435-acre Deep Lakes Park was formerly a sand and gravel quarry. The pits have been filled with water and now paddlers can traverse the 120 acres of clear water lakes. Numerous launch points offer paddlers access to multiple lakes within the park.

This 100-acre park in Muscatine is a natural area in an urban environment. Walking trails, fishing ponds, and the Environmental Learning Center invite people of all ages to come and explore nature. The park is a reclaimed farmstead that includes wooded hillsides, a reconstructed prairie, small streams, two fishing ponds, and the Muscatine Arboretum.
