The Walking Paths in Longview Park are a 1.3 mile network of multi-use paths nestled on and above the bluff of the Mississippi river providing picturesque views across into Iowa.

Lost Grove Lake, the reservoir formed on Lost Creek, is a 400-acre body of water that provides calm paddling conditions and amenities for fishing.

Loud Thunder Forest Preserve offers 17.5 miles of trails ranging from easy to difficult. There are trails specifically for hiking and and also shared use trails, which are open to biking, hiking, and horseback riding.

The Mad Creek Greenbelt trail is just over 1 mile long and connects Park Avenue West to Lake Park Blvd. The trail runs along Mad creek and passes underneath the U.S. 61 Bypass in Muscatine.

The Martin Conservation Area is a 240-acre tract of land located west of Loud Thunder Forest Preserve along Loud Thunder Road. There are ample hiking trails available that wind through scenic landscapes full of native prairies, woodlands and wildlife.

This short 0.5 mile walking path connects all the attractions and amenities found in Mel McKay Park.
