The Veterans Memorial Parkway Trail is a 5.74 mile multi-use path that follows Veterans Memorial Parkway in Davenport to Forest Grove Dr/Middle Rd in Bettendorf.

The Wapsi River Environmental Education Center is located along the Wapsipinicon River and has miles of trails winding through its 225 acres of upland and bottomland forests, grasslands, and wetlands. The Center has been named in the Iowa Wildlife Viewing Guide as one of 77 areas in Iowa for premium wildlife viewing.

The walking trails in Wapsie Park offer gentle, wooded surroundings and a short, flat hike.

West Lake Park is a 620-acre facility offering four lakes for fishing and/or swimming. Amenities include: hiking trails, boat dock, handicap fishing dock, beach area, paddle boat rentals, picnic facilities, playground areas, modern restrooms, and two campground areas.

The West Side Trail provides a trail connection to numerous regional parks, including Discovery Park, Kent Stein Park, and Deep Lakes Park. Portions of the trail are segments of either or both the Mississippi River Trail and American Discovery Trail.

Wildcat Den State Park features several miles of hiking trails that explore numerous interesting natural and historical features.
